A very dark moment...

It truly is a dark moment when someone like Michael Jackson falls off the Earth as he did today. His passing reminds me how every instant counts, and that we need to enjoy our time here and love each other!

Peace and good-bye to you, PYT.

Spellbound is in Print!

I'm happy to report that Spellbound, my new hunky knight story, is available for ordering through your favorite bookstore and will be available on Amazon soon. AND the digital version is selling quite briskly. One reader said she read it in one sitting -- couldn't put it down. That's what I like to hear! ;-)

It's sunny here in the Bay Area. Spring is bursting out all over. What a glorious time of year!!

Yay!!!

Hello Everyone--

I'm happy to report that I just typed "The End" on my spellbound knight story, Lord of Ayr. Yay!!! This has been a long-standing WIP for me. Now to get this project out to the world!

I'm also happy to report that my website was mentioned in the latest issue of RWA eNotes, the newsletter of Romance Writers of America, as being a resource for paranormal writers.

I'm off to Scotland for the holidays, and hope to visit a few haunted places that will inspire me. (How could Scotland NOT inspire a paranormal writer????) :-)

Happy reading and may peace spread across the world,
Patricia

Time Flies

Obviously, I'm not a blogger...

I see I haven't posted for a good long while! In fact, I lost track of this blog for the longest time...

I've been hard at work on The Lord of Ayr, a tale about a time-traveling medieval Knight Templar. Hugh Lachlan is one of my hunkiest, yummiest heroes yet. (And of course, Scottish!). I hope to unleash him on the unsuspecting public soon.

Oh, and if you haven't seen my website for a while, I've given it a facelift. We all need Botox once in a while.

What does a mummy have in common with a F1 driver?

Boy, it's stumping me! Any ideas?

Today I am in musing mode, having panic attacks about everything I have to get done (don't ask), before a business trip. My 83-year old mom is coming back with me to stay for a few days, so I have to get all the boas and bon-bons put away and the dog hair brushed off the good sofas. That's a lot of pressure!

I had brownies and milk for breakfast. If that isn't the meal of a stressed-out writer, I don't know what is!

Ciao for niao.

To blog or not to blog, that is the question...

Hi Everyone!
It's been quiet around my writer world lately, as I have once again moved--which always messes my writing schedule. Sometimes I just have to give up synopsis writing for painting a bathroom. I do love to work on my houses, though, and it gives me some valuable "pondering" time. In my next life, perhaps I'll flip homes for a living instead of scratching out stories!

However, today, I did have a breakthrough idea about my WIP, Spellbound. Let's hope my agent thinks the inspiration is as great as I do! More later.
